  7. ADAX SNDCF (Subnetwork Dependent Convergent Function) is a Streams
  8. implementation which allows IP datagrams to be carried over a wide-area X.25
  9. connection. This software module, coupled with ADAX's CCITT standard X.25 for
  10. UNIX and APC Advanced Protocol Controllers, turns your network server into a
  11. gateway/router instantaneously

  13. You no longer need an additional platform to support wide-area connectivity.
  14. Using your current host TCP/IP, ADAX's SNDCF driver links you to wide-area
  15. networks. If your LAN software is DDN certified, you have DDN connectivity with
  16. our certified X.25. This saves the additional cost of a DDN/TCP IP protocol
  17. module

  19. SNDCF provides a mapping into the ADAX X.25 underlying service. IP addresses
  20. are mapped to X.25 addresses. SNDCF has LLI as its upper interface and NPI as
  21. its lower interface, thus making it fully Streams compatible. X.25 and SNDCF
  22. support either PDN or DDN address mapping from the same user interface.
  23. Physical connections can be modified at will by the network administrator.
